Yesterday, was a road trip to UNK to participate in Music Day for Jesus Gomez.
High School Juniors and Seniors were invited to spend a "day in the life" of a UNK Music Major. High School students were able to attend a couple of college classes as well as play with the UNK Wind Ensemble during their rehearsal. Students were also able to attend the UNK Student Recital in which the students then voted on which performance was the best. Overall a busy day!
8th graders researched disco dance moves, created informational visuals and attempted performing the moves as presented by classmates. Several students caught on quickly, while others are going to practice more.
Four students left early this morning to compete in FFA State Range Judging in Chadron: Adan Juarez, Jayden Harig, Jorge Valadez and Ryder Cable. Good Luck!

You will find the cross country team competing today at the Maywood-Hayes Center Cross Country Invitational at the Hayes Center Golf Course. JV/Varsity girls will begin at 2:00, followed by JV/Varsity boys at 2:30. A combined JH race will begin at 3:00. Awards will follow the conclusion of the races.
